Evaluation
Student evaluation throughout the academic year will be based on a combination of continuous tests, project work, and attendance in class. The total marks obtained in all tests, juries, and project weeks will play a significant role in determining a student’s promotion to the next academic year.
In addition to academic performance, the evaluation process will also take into account personal involvement, diligence in lectures, and overall behavior of the student.
Each subject within a semester will be evaluated individually. To obtain the credits allocated to a subject, students must achieve a minimum average of 3 out of 5. Falling below this threshold will result in zero credits awarded for that subject. It is essential for students to earn all 30 credits per semester across all subjects to progress to the next level. Similarly, to obtain the diploma, Undergraduate (UG) students must accumulate a total of 240 credits, while Postgraduate (PG) students must earn 120 credits throughout the entire program. A final transcript with grades and credits will be handed to the student at the end of each semester.
In the event that a student fails a subject, the School offers the opportunity to enroll in a retake program. The retake program requires a fee of ₹2,000 + GST per subject. Students opting for the retake program will need to submit all their assignments alongside the following batch and will undergo evaluation and grading as per the standard procedure. If, at the end of the semester, their average is at least 3 out of 5, they will pass the subject and receive the corresponding credits. If the average falls below this threshold, students will have the option to enroll in the retake program again for that subject, subject to payment of the fee, until successful completion is achieved.
