Lab 1

Foundation Program

The foundation year serves as an introduction to the storyboard and illustrates their basic thoughts and elements with photography and cinematics of digital design. Their minds are conditioned to visualize and observe their surroundings and create a sense of empathy in their thinking to pen down the user experience and create a process flow.

Lab 2

Designing with Users: Foundations of UX & Interaction

Lab 2 marks the shift from foundational learning to a more structured, user-centred design approach. Students build a deeper understanding of users through ergonomics, research and design thinking, translating insights into meaningful experiences and interface decisions. Emphasis is placed on developing clear design logic, from early concepts to tested digital outcomes. Alongside this, students strengthen their visual sensibility, narrative clarity and technical rigour, while gaining exposure to business, behavioural and cultural contexts. The lab prepares students to approach design problems holistically, balancing creativity with usability, strategy and real-world application.

Short internship

1 - 2 months

An Internship of 1-2 months is compulsory in the 2nd year for exposure to the practical aspect of learning. It gives them a taste of the real professional world and how things function.

Lab 3

Strategic Digital Products: Interfaces in Practice

Levelling up from Lab 2, the third year immerses students in advanced digital product design, where interfaces are shaped by strategy, technology and business realities. Students learn to align UX decisions with product vision, brand thinking and market objectives, while working through complex problems that demand stakeholder collaboration and persuasive communication. The year emphasises building, testing and refining digital products through advanced prototyping, user testing and iteration across web and mobile platforms. With a stronger understanding of contemporary tech ecosystems, motion, interaction and emerging tools, students develop confident, industry-ready frameworks for end-to-end product development. Opportunities for international exposure further broaden their cultural perspective and design maturity.

The focus shifts to innovation at scale, where UX strategy, advanced interaction design and emerging interface paradigms are applied to both consumer and enterprise contexts. Students learn to translate ideas into clearly defined product directions, aligning user needs with business intent and technical feasibility. Through rigorous prototyping, documentation and collaboration with engineering, they develop industry-ready solutions while exploring the role of new technologies in shaping future interactions. The year culminates in a comprehensive digital product project, supported by professional portfolio development and international exposure, preparing students for confident entry into the industry.
